SOMETHING FANS MAY NOT KNOW: I am a self-employed carpenter that enjoys fishing and anything sports related (die-hard South Carolina Gamecock fan). My first love was football. I played for 12 years and have coached the past 3 years for the local youth team. I have been fishing on Santee Cooper my entire life (33 years). My grandfather was a catfish and striper guide on Santee for 58 years which gave me the opportunity around the age of 10 to serve beside him as his first mate, marking the very beginning of my love for fishing and the foundation in knowledge and skills for me to start my very own guide service (Corey Casey Fishing and Guide Service). In high school Matt Judy (my best friend and fishing partner) introduced me to tournament fishing- we would skip school and try to find any odd-end jobs that would allow us to scrape up just enough money to put gas in our boat and make any local tournaments possible. Here I am my first year fishing the NPFL.
