SOMETHING FANS MAY NOT KNOW: When I was thirteen I met the Shimano/Costa rep at Mark’s Outdoors. After talking for some time he asked me to write an essay on why I should be picked to fish as a co-angler in the Mark’s pro-am event on Lay Lake. After writing the essay, I was chosen to fish with Casey Ashley. This was my first time I had ever been in a bass boat and my first ever tournament. That day I had made up my mind to pursue professional fishing. Fast forward to today, I now work for that same rep group (Don Coffey Company) where my role is to teach and educate tackle shops all across the East Coast through both in store and on the water training for Shimano, G.Loomis, Powerpro, and Jackall lures. During my spare time I love to teach people ,especially kids, how to fish through my company Bassin Bros guide service. When I’m not fishing, I love spending time with my beautiful wife and have been know to Sasquatch hunt from time to time.
