SOMETHING FANS MAY NOT KNOW: Until my recent retirement from corporate life, I spent over 30 years in the Occupational Health and Safety field as a Board Certified Safety Professional with several large, multi-national, and well recognized companies.  Therefore, safety (and teaching others about safety) is in my DNA along with fishing.  As such, I am a huge advocate for any equipment, accessories, or tools that improve the health and safety of those in the fishing industry.

My son won a goldfish at a carnival when he was very young. We managed to keep that goldfish alive for 14 years. So clearly, health and safety concerns extend to the fish as well.  😊
